Fire Rated Silicone Joined Curtain Walling
The MB-SR50 EI EFEKT system is designed for the fabrication of fire rated infill curtain walls where a flush external appearance is required.
Unlike traditional curtain wall systems, the façade is free from visible external aluminium elements, creating a clean glazed aesthetic while maintaining fire resistance classifications from EI15 to EI60.
Key system characteristics include:
- Fire resistance classifications from EI30 to EI60
- Silicone joined façade appearance with no visible external aluminium profiles
- Suitable for vertical façades and glazed roof applications
- Façade inclination up to ±15° from vertical
- Accommodates fire resistant glazing up to 64mm thick
- Single and double glazed fire resistant units available
- Fire protection inserts incorporated within profile construction
- Steel accessories, specialist bolts and expanding tapes for high-temperature protection
